THE THEORY OF 3ft Of Peace™
After 9/11, founder Deborah Greene, took a film crew throughout the Northwest and spoke with students about their current state of mind and how to process their new reality after the attacks. Many insights emerged but one moment stuck with her and shifted the work she would do from that point on. One small boy said, “How can I fix what you all can’t fix? World Peace is too big for me.”
It was in that moment that the Theory of 3ft emerged. Can we all learn to cultivate our own 3ft of Peace? If we each foster a more peaceful existence personally, can we bring our own peace to the world engaging with more care and respect? Our 3Ft of Peace programs and initiatives grew from this inquiry. We now teach within schools and corporations, to parents and individuals.
There is a power in the action of a single person and cumulatively, we can change the world.
8500 miles in a car, 4 months, 40 states, hundreds of people... This is Our State of Peace in America. To be released December 2016.
OUR STATE OF PEACE PROJECT is a documentary series, traveling with filmmakers from around the world asking: How do we each create a peaceful existence and aren’t we more likely to come to each other in peace if we are experiencing more peace individually? The "3ft of peace" speaks to our own personal 3ft circumference and the energy we each bring to the world.
With representation from over 41 countries, Live a Moment will continue to travel the world and share the wisdom from us all, weaving a tapestry of our global voice towards a more joyful and peaceful existence.

"Now more than ever, every additional voice of peace can bring a shift towards a much needed calm in the current dialogue. Now more than ever, we may be just one voice away from a new world... and a new beginning." -Deborah Greene
